Do they actually work?? What are your experiences with them, and which ones do you use, pray tell??!!;)
Grace is telling me in no uncertain terms that she's after a man...well that would actually be a stallion!! Don't think she could get her ears flatter against her neck if she tried, if I so much look at her food when she's eating!!! Little madam!
Trying to get into her stable is like wading through syrup!! Eeeeeeuuuw! (Rubs watery eyes!!)
Any suggestions anyone??

I've given my mare Oestress and it works on her. It doesn't totally stop her coming into season but it definitely takes the edge off and she's much happier as she doesn't feel so tetchy. It's definitely useful for a mare that seems to have seasons throughtout the whole year.

is she always like this? spring is in the air and the first season of the year is often a bit of a belter - mostly the rest of them are much more normal. if it'sn ot normal season behaviour then i'd see how the next one goes before starting supplements.

Ive used Chaste berry with great sucess, on mares, rigs and cushings sufferers. It really does even out the hormone levels, Dodson and Horrell sell it, 2kg for £8.15 and it lasts about a month, so really good value too:)

I use "Hormonise" which is liquid chaste berry. Works well for my mare - also use it for cushings pony.

I used FeelGood30s Hormonal Mare on Curly for a year and it worked exellently. She's on Blue Chip Karma now so ive stopped giving her the mare supplement - dont want to zonk her out toooo much :D

I tried one called Hormonease a couple of years ago on Mimi and it made no difference. She's not actually that moody on reflection anyway, just a bit of a grump at times :D

I have just bought some Oestress from Bry, she is showing signs that her seasons are about to start up again and I thought this year we may try to calm her a little.
I've spent two years trying to convince myself that she is non marish.
