I'm a 24 year old who's lived in the country for most of his life except for a few years away at Uni. I'm currently living in Frensham, Surrey and am starting to learn to ride (I've had one lesson!). I tried it once when I was 9 or 10 but preferred mountain biking in those days. I'm looking for advice and hopefully to meet people in the area who ride. I enjoyed the first lesson a lot more than I thought I would and was surprised at getting past walking! I'll see how I get on over teh next few weeks but hope to ride for a couple of hours a week when I get a bit better!

If you've a litte time to advise or if you ride near Frensham, then please send me a message!

Graham

I don't live anywhere close to you and have no great jewels of advice, but I did want to welcome you to the board. Like most of us here, you will probably find riding is quite addictive.

Once you've got the basics down, you might see whether it will be possible to join a group lesson too. This can be a great way of meeting fellow riders in your area.

This is the first message board I've posted to and it will take a while for me to get the hang of this I'm sure as well!
