What breed do you think this horse could be? He has no brands and get quite a thick coat in the winter. I think he is a bit of a bitser but would like to know what you think. Eg what could be in him. I have been told either a morgan cross or a standaredbreed cross or a tb cross. He is 14.3hh.
Please ask anything else you would like to know.

he looks thoroughbred cross to me. I'd say thoroughbred...welsh? I don't know what cross, but he definitely has some thoroughbred blood in him.

Hi there. I just wanted to say that thoroughbreds can be smaller in height. Not all of them make 16hh+! I used to own a thoroughbred gelding who was only 14.1hh. He was from the Cusop lines as well. So he had fab breeding but was smaller than expected. So for that reason I got a great little show pony that hadnt been raced as he was too small!

I too knew a 14.3hh TB, she came from a race yard, her papers had to be seen to be beleived, she had Prix de L'arc de Triomph (sp) winners in her papers and all sorts of champs. She just didn't grow!

I know not all tb's make 16hh. Most of the short ones become polo ponys.
