Hello there!

Seeing as it has come to my attention there are many of us nr geeks in close proximity to one another, i feel it necessary to call upon those of utmost geekiness to come together in a union of merriment and fun! :D

SO if any of you nr-arians are interested and have any ideas for a meet up, here's the place to let me know! :D

To start us off, there is gorgeous hacking on my doorstep and good pub rides if that would suit peeps. I may be able to lend 1 or 2 ponies, but people are more than welcome to bring there own if poss... lets get our heads together and see what us brainiacs can sort out. :)

Well, how about we aim to do something early april? It'll give me a chance to get my polo bunch fitter and (fingers crossed :o) Fill's leg will be much better by then. :)

If you can bring your own pones, great (plenty of room to park on our yard), but if not, by then sounds of things we might be able to rake some spare ponies together too! :)

Ok, sun 20th sounds ok, but seeing as it's a little later on i might have chukkas/ match... that's the thing with polo, you never really know! :rolleyes: But lets maybe aim for that date (if i have chukkas they'll prob be in the morning anyway) and sort out the final tweeks nearer the time. :)

The only other thing is we have people from the office coming to the yard, so i can't really have a load of boxes trailers parked there... BUT! :D There is plenty of parking at cirencester park and i could sort out a good route (you can hack for hours and it's gorgeous!) with a pub to stop at for some lunch and drinkies! **goes to check os maps!** :)

Just having a think... yes, it happens occasionally, and hurts! :rolleyes: ;)

Thought i should post a little warning. Obviously we don't want any accidents if they can be helped on the day, and as there could be about a small-hunt load of us going we need to be careful. The park is stunning, but has miles of wide, grassy lanes that the horses will prob be keen to get a steam on when we're there and there is a "no galloping" rule down the main stretch. As it is so big and easy to get lost in, we need to stick together.

I think it's fair for me to say, concidering we don't really know one another, that those coming are totally happy (and in control :o) of the horse they're on and are confident the horse will cope with the situation. :)

The last thing we want is a mass-stampede and peope/horses upset.

Saying that, i think we should have a "bail-out" pot and anyone who departs company has to but 1 pound in the pub-fund!! :D
