Can anyone recommend a good recipe for fly spray? Its sooo expensive to buy!

1 part vinegar: 1 part dishwashing liquid: 2 parts water, smells terrible and I think the flies agree!

If you take a look in the "money saving ideas" thread of the forum, I do recall a recipe being on there.

I did use something from Avon last year, but expensive, but I used to wait until it was on offer. I cant remember quite what it was called (someone else may remember) - greeny/blue bottle and called skin so soft, I used to use that on the worst areas and it was great, also smells wonderful! :)

I think I used white vinegar because it was what we had in the cupboard, but I don't think it matters, if your horse is grey I'd use a white vinegar though!

I use citronella, vinegar and cold tea. Its always worked
