Leicestershire Meet - final tally please!

Rather than wade through 6 pages of chat and such - I thought I'd start a new thread. Given we are likely to be a large party I will need to arrange a table in advance.

So finalised details for the meet up are:

Sunday 30th March
3pm
Flagstaff Island Brewers Fayre, Ashby de la Zouch

Please reply to this thread if you are coming, and how many in your group (I know some people are bringing family etc.)
Please try not to go too off topic as it would be easier to count replies as 'heads' for tables - so please don't post if you aren't coming, or arrange travel etc!

Yard visits were mentionned on the previous post - the meet up is at the pub above, at 3pm. Some members may choose to invite people to come and meet their horses, but it is not intended to be part of the meet up itself to do a tour of Leicestershire yards! I beleive eml will be inviting people via PM to come to our yard, becuase of our business it certainly wont be a free for all pony patting session!


Anyway - back to business! Please reply to this thread ASAP -I intend to speak to the pub mid week to see if we can get a table large enough!

I've dropped a right clanger!!! We're competing on the 30th!!! its the 2nd rounds trailblazers dressage! I very much doubt we'll be done by 2 to be able to get there for 3, so i guess "sob sob" you'll have to count me and horses4eva888 out!!! (although i cant speak for her) :'( :'(

I can see why thats confusing: Maybe worth clarifying with HCEC - as the link I sent you was straight off the TB website. As I said in PM won't affect me as they don't have my class!

Hope you get on well - the lnk had all the other TB dates so you can find other local ones to attend - your 2nd rounds card allows you to compete in as many qualifers as you like.

Tables are all sorted for 3pm, Sunday 30th March. When you get in there I think we are in a room on the left hand side, but organised SFS will be there and have a 'new rider' sign up on the tables -we have 2 of 10 next to each other.

Highcross EC have confirmed the date is wrong. We were confussed aswell, daughter is doing second rounds.
So just to confirm. 30th March at Highcross EC is NOT Tb second round.

Coyote I am hoping to do classes 7 and 8, with chestnut TB most likely to be on hind legs (its ok, have contacted organiser and she says it should be perfect outing for baby and she trusts me to keep her out of the way of everyone else!). Howver G's sideways lesson takes priority so if I cant get a very late afternoon lesson I will have to give showing orange-beastie a miss.

Apparently not! He doesnt know what he's missing with me planning to get rosie out to shows this year! lol! Puffa fish look has now gone, probably only til the morning again, but pones wont mind as long as they get the fuss! They're probably glad as I wont have to share my spare time between the two of them and him! lol!

I shall be in the pub from about 2:45 - I've already heard some NR-ers dont want to walk in the pub alone (ahem, you know who you are!) so I shall be a warm and welcoming face - honest. Maybe I should take a sign with the NR logo on it and hold it up - like taxi drivers at airports etc - so you know who I am!
As far as I am aware we have the area of the pub in a 'snug' to the left of the door as you walk in, but I'm not certain. They are going to do us 2 tables of 10 or 12 seats each so just head for the big tables!

Anyone going to emls, I'm not sure who you are to PM you but can you bring wellies or yard boots, there is some mud around the yard and I dont want to be traipsing mud around the pub afterwards!

Chicken pox and shingles has been flying around the primary school for the last 2 months,my eldest two have had them but my youngest two were not born ,when the eldest two got them,so i knew they would get it,my middle daughter (7yo) got them on tuesday and has been extremely poorly,then last night/this morning my youngest (4yo) was very ill and is now breaking out in spots.:eek:
LuckyBenson has been very ill with shingles for the last 2 weeks,its soooo painfull.:(
