Has anybody got some of the happy hoof that comes in the new bag yet?

I got some yesterday and was quite shocked to find how much shorter the chop was, it was so fine it was nearly dusty! The only good thing about it was that it seems less sticky and mollasses-y.

Not sure if I like it to be honest, I am worried about my mare who has trouble with coughing when fed dry hay, but had been fine on the old happy hoof. I am worried this dusty stuff is going to set her cough off again.

I swear by Happy Hoof. I am on my third new style bag (i have 3 ponies!) To be honest I have not noticed the difference but I always add wadter to mine as I feed with bran. My cob has COPD so if it could make anyone cough, it would her!:)

Hi
I used to use Hapihoof, but changed to safe & sound.
It looks more palatable with chewy bits in, which my horse seems to prefer.

Yes I thought like you that it was more finely chopped- but this wasn't the reason for swapping.;)
