Hi everyone. I have posted here several times about my other horse Breezy. Well I got tired of not enjoying riding and constantly fighting with her I finally got a new horse. His name is Sunny and was a 10 year old's mount and has been in parades, trail rides, etc. He is between 12 and 14 years old.

So now that I have a more dependable mount I am really excited about riding. I took a few lessons until it got really cold and I am ready to get riding again since it is getting warm. I am thinking of joing a local saddle club. They do fundraisers and lots of trail rides. They get together once a month for a meeting and potluck. The only thing is I am really nervous about not knowing anyone or seeming really stupid about horsey things. Does anyone belong to a club like this? Can you tell me your experiences with them?

Thanks
Debbie

I felt like that before joining our local riding club and my fears were completely unfounded, everyone seems to be really friendly and supportive.

I think it will really encourage me to try different things and mix with other owners and horses.

Give it a go you've nothing to lose and if you don't like it , then don't go back !! :D:D ( But, I bet that doesn't happen).

Thank you. Their meeting for this month is tomorrow. I think I might go and just see how it is and see how things go. I hope I don't feel to out of place.
