I need to pick your brains please!
Willow lives out 24/7, with ad-lib hay at the mo. Her previous owner gave her a token feed to give some extra vits & minerals and make it easier as & when she needs any meds or supplements. She's currently having D&H Leisure Mix and she had D&H high fibre nuts in the Spring/Summer (recommended so she doesn't lose the volume and vits & mins when the pasture is better). She's a barefoot native/cobby cross and does very well on this regime.

Sound good so far? Trouble is, the feedstore I usually go to doesn't stock the nuts. They would order it in for me, but as I'm the only customer it would mean either buying in bulk (mega ££ in one go) or being a pain in the proverbial! So, suggestions please - what other brands are comparable?

and pretty much exactly the same as D+H... just more expensive!

Our feed store used to do the Spillers, but now does ones called "highlight", I think. They're cheaper but don't seem as nice (to my eye - horse eats them enthusiastically).
These ones. (http://www.greenmule.co.uk/equestrian-70/horse-feed-143/baileys-horse-feed-147/hilight-hi-fibre-horse-2013.htm)

thanks guys!

I think I'll give Spillers a go - 'pretty much the same as D&H' is just what I was looking for. Not too worried about cost, the feedstore I use isn't the cheapest anyway but I go there because its close to work - the little extra I spend on feed is balanced by lower food miles & petrol costs. Hopefully it'll be a wee bit cheaper than the leisure mix anyway!
