Hands up who has one (or more)! Seriously considering keeping an eye out for one and buying it to put by for when I get my own horse... What sort of horse do you have and do you feel they are capable of fitting most type of horse?

I think SCS are fab for horses who regularly change shape throughout the seasons. Was fab for Stumpy who's waistline fluctuates over the seasons. The GP that Stumpy has is a little impeding on her shoulder though, so if you go for a cobby/big shouldered type native, then just consider the kind of style. :)

I have the dressage geona saddle co saddle bought for vol via norm. Recently bought a GP from coyote and also another GP which will go to skyla. Both Warmbloods

I wouldn't buy one until you have the horse to fit it too - my worry would be length?

Maybe put the money away ready and get fitter out at same time

I strongly rec them as I supply and fit for The Saddle co but as already said wait until you have a horse. You and your new horse will need to be assessed to make sure you have the right style of saddle for you both and most importantly the size. Once you order a saddle it really doesn't take long to be made generally only a few weeks :)

I have a working hunter & an event saddle, both Genoa types. Love em! Mrs P seems happy in them too. Saddle is only as good as fit though...that's where Poohsmate comes in ;)

I fit Saddle Company saddles - I find them especially good for horses & ponies who have been previously damaged by tightly fitting saddles. Fitted correctly and from a remedial approach they allow the horse to recover wasted muscle and become stronger through it's back. Balance saddles are another saddle that I recommend and use for horse comfort.

ps. I know of a 16.5 inch black verona dressage saddle company saddle available for sale in the north-east. I haven't seen it but apparently in good condition.
