Hi,
I'll try and get pics tomorrow but i'm pretty sure my chambon has been made back to front!
i found this old thread (hope you dont mind CVB:o) with a great pic of how a chambon *should* look
http://www.newrider.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51829&highlight=chambon
i'll try and explain this as best as i can - instead of the rope going in a straight line from the girth, through the metal bits at the poll and down to the bit. it goes up to the poll and then has to get looped back round itself in order to get down to the bit - its the rope has been attached back to front?
i can turn the headpiece round and attach it the other way but the the leather bit that attaches to the girth is round the wrong way and teh buckle will dig into him.
hope that makes sense:o
i annoy the staff in the tack shop enough as it is so i dont want to go in and say "its broked" with there being a solution:o:D
