hi. i've heard a lot about you and your method of riding. i think what you say about saddles is completely true and i find it impossible to ride a correct, 'glued to the saddle' sitting trot. my saddle makes it impossible to keep my lower leg in the correct place. i was wondering how much i would be looking to spend if i were to buy one of your saddles? do you know of anywhere i can get them second hand (cheaper?!) many thanks! fiona hogg.

HI Fiona,
I have designed a synthetic range for Thorowgood, the GP already being on the market. Have to say, that it is not yet available to fit very wide horses, but anything up to medium width isn't a problem. I would say that their medium width is a narrow by my standards and the wide, a medium fit. A new wide tree is in prototype stage at the moment. Th TG Heather Moffett Griffin is priced at £299.
I do have a couple of secondhand Barry Swain ones at the moment, which are my bespoke leather ones. These (I am not making anything out of them) are £850 each, and only for sale because we have a new dressage tree, that fits these three horses even metter than this one. This doesn't mean to say that the treee is a better design, just better for certain horses!
email me privately if you would like more info.
