Canter, who me?? Yup I did!!

Hell, not the greatest milestone in the evolution of man, but by gum i did canter for the first time today! Not for many strides i grant you , but it felt like someone had strapped me to a rocket! As you can probably tell, I am now all excited and want to have another lesson RIGHT NOW, but i'm probably going to have to wait a week before repeating the experience!

Off to have a bath and calm down!

Good on you. I've ridden for years but cantering in the school is not my favourite gait. Straight lines out hacking across stubble fields with no style required is much more fun!

Congratulations on your first canter, great isn't it? Wait till you canter in the open - there is no feeling like it in the world (apart from first gallop in the open, have only done one but I was grinning like a Cheshire cat for months:D). Enjoy cantering!.
