Barley Rings

I recently baught barley rings to try help put some weight on my TB. I read on the bag that they can be soaked in water. Does anyone know if I HAVE to soak them or is it ok to feed them as they are?

The 2 friesians that share Joy's feild just have readigrass and barley rings unsoaked :)

my boy has them unsoaked, only soaked when its freezing cold :rolleyes:

I fed them as is

I feed them unsoaked but make feeds an hour or so before he actually eats and he has masses of speedibeet which makes them a little bit soggy...so sort of in between :p
