Anyone bought one of these? Is the quality and fit good? Feedback on them looks great. Thinking of going bitless for the first time so not wanting to spend mega bucks! Many thanks!

Yes I bought one, I was surprisingly impressed with it!!.. however Kai wasnt - he totally ignored the fact he had a bit in, and I didnt feel safe... so went back to his norm which hes happy with.. For the cash tho was a good trial and error!.. would recommend anyway

I bought the webbing one off ebay and I'm not that impressed with it. The stitching started to come undone and I've had to resew it all.

On the other hand, it was a cheapo to try same as you Welshcobz. I am now going to upgrade to a nice leather one as Arnie is 100% happier bitless. Steering is slightly interesting and brakes are working so far (but havent been in a stressful situation yet). To be fair, he was so unhappy with a bit that I had no brakes anyway as the least contact made him fling his head up and panic. He has had lots of problems with his mouth which have hopefully been resolved now but I am wanting to start afresh and let him stop worrying about it.

I did see another thread which recommended these bridles as being good quality. Got to be worth a go:D

Brill, thanks for your replies. Think I will be giving it a whirl - like said it's a good trial and error! Cheers again.

Little update - bridle arrived and is good value for £20.00 - quality is very good for the price (pungent foreign leather smell but we can live with that!) Great way to experiment bitless which so far is going well! x

I've just won the second hand Dr Cooks on ebay:). Fingers crossed that a. it fits (its cob sized and I couldnt make my mind up which size he needed but it was a bargain:)) and b. I have some steering with it cos the webbing one I had was crap.

I do love bitless though and I think its going to be a case of "which one". Arnie is so much happier.

Let us know how the leather ebay one performs?
