Anyone recommend anything to get watermarks out of a saddle.
I have a fairly new saddle that I keep covered with a waterproof saddle cover. We got caught in a lot of rain and unfortunately the waterproof saddle cover was only waterproof to a certain extent and a patch of water leaked through.
It disappeared and only when I cleaned my saddle yesterday did it reappear. I used Stubbon Hamanol, as advised by my saddler, and it cleaned the rest of the saddle fine but the patch where the water had been came up in a darker patch hence my asumption that it is a water mark as the rest of the saddle was fine.
Any ideas that can help minise it or gradually get it out?
