Hope I've posted this in the right place (saw the thread about posting stuff in the wrong place so don't want to get it wrong:p) I'm due to worm our pair tonight - well or tomorrow but thing is I read on the instructions (its for tapeworm btw) that you are meant to keep them off the pasture for 2 days. Well, thats not an option for either of our pair - I can't keep them in for 2 days (Joe would probably go loopy or kick the door down:eek:) Any ideas folks? Am gonna ring the vet - but thought I'd ask on here first. Last year they were on a yard so wasn't relevant as they were on winter / limited turnout. Thanks for reading.:)

Best thing to do is turn then out as normal and then poo pick the paddock when they come in again!

Yes, I think thats what I'm going to do - I do remember speaking to somebody a while back about this and they said cos we only have the two horses its not such a big worry, not like when you're on a big yard and there are lots.

yes - do the poo-picking and you will be fine to turn them out! Do remember though that any live worms in dung will migrate away from it within a 24 hour period - so if it is to be of proper use, you need to do it quickly, and get all of it!
