Well summers almost here - yay! So Row will be going down to the summer paddocks soon - another yay!

The only downside to this is that the summer paddock is on a fairly steep hill and as Row is entering her golden years, 18 this year, she can get quite stiff when in that paddock.

Someone suggested feeding her glutosamine (she already has codliver oil) but I know its quite expensive so wanted to see if anyones had any experience with it before I splash out! So does it work??

Yes!

Lots of people have good success with VetVits EquiFlex, esp if your mare is a bit stiff on hills, in the morning, etc ...

I can thoroughly recomend it. My old chap [28] has got a bit stiff over the winter, Ive had him on the usual stuff, oil, apple cider vinegar, herbs etc and that worked well, but after Xmas I felt he needed something more so went for glucosomine. I was quite sceptical at first but hes had the double dose for a month and is now on 1 scoop a day [been on it now for 3 months and I cant believe the change in him. He has a new lease of life and any thoughts of retirement have been shelved.
