Homozygous coloured stallions always throw coloured foals right? So can you get homozygous spotteds?

Yes - few spots are homozygous for spots. Offspring will either be fewspots themselves, or leopard spots.

But there is also a gene that controls the expression of white patterns in spotted horses - that dictates whether a horse has a blanket, or a large blanket, or no blanket at all. So fewspot x solid will give you spots... but whether a horse has a lot of white or only a small amount is a different gene.

Maybe a dim question but how do you tell a few spot? Is it just a spotty with very few spots?!:o

a few spot is a minly white based horse with some pattern and a few spots.

My filly is a few spot.

Few spots are homozygous, so they will alway sproduce offspring of spotted pattern, whether bred to a solid or spotted, I am actually doing research for my dissertation on the patten in offspring from few spot stallions.

Really? I did my thesis on homozygous appies, oh way back in 1996 (Eeeek  How old does that make me?!!!) Ten years on and what stallion did we end up with (finally) a homozygous app!! :D
