are you from america?
if you want critique for showing in the uk under what we consider to be right (its completely different to the US!) then you need to have more of a contact (hold the reins tighter) and for the horse to be in a outline and "on the bit" he is going along on the forehand and isnt using his backend particularily well.
you ride nice though :) and your stirrups dont need to be longer, otherwise you will be stretching too much ;)

i think you do need your stirrups down a whole or too, hands need to be up and upturned (like cups of tea in you hands!), relax your back, and dont arch it, collect your reins up a little more so you atleast have a contact, once you have sorted your position i think you should start worrying about the horse.
take it one step at a time though start with your hands, then work on not arching your back and so on..
it may be an idea to do exercises without stirrrups and reins on a lunge line, it work wonders on your postition.:)

Well it sounds like your trainer pretty much told you what you need to work on. One thing that might help you is to ride with your thumbs on top, not your knuckles. Your wrist is breaking the contact with your horse’s mouth. You have a good rhythm and good legs :)
Your stirrups are a little short but if you feel comfortable with that length don’t worry about changing them. Do you ride in the pleasure division? If so, you do want to have loose reins (although not that loopy) and your horses neck long and flat and head tucked in. Make sure one rein isn't longer than the other. If you are doing regular equitation or hunters you will need some more contact with the reins.
ETA: The way you are arching your back is very, very, common among h/j riders. It's a trend that I wish would go away and a very hard habbit to break (I know I still do it :) So in order to sit up straight you should feel like you are leaning back too far (at first) and then you will eventually feel more comfortable.

Thanks guy's!! Yeahh, my hand are normally in the correct position, but my horse was carrying his head low, which we don't always get, and I want to give him his head (Not to mention I had to tie a not at the top of the rein because secret snapped them earlier that day.. Lol I mustve not tied the not even.)
But, yes, I do pleasure. But, mostly hunters and eq.

Lol i was watching saying, straighten your back shoulders back, hands up etc and then your trainer started saying it, but as for your stirrups i dont think they need to go down but your lower leg and feet (i believe) are too far back, you need to wrap your leg around more and take a better contact through your seat, (i know u say she was carrying her head low) but if you had a better contact with your hands, seat and legs, your movement would be more "With" the horse and she would be able to have a more forward flowing motion, and she would be able to carry herself in a natural outline.
But other than that, you have a nice rhythm and balance and beautiful horse!! good luck :)
