well dad got this stuff for treating lice but its for treating lice on the bedding in the stable so I wanted your opinion before I put it on the ponies (the store person told dad that when the ponies are dry its ok to put it on them?:confused:)


AGRO; stable louse powder

precautions:
Harmful if swallowed.
Avoid direct contact with the product by use of rubber gloves and a protective breathing mask.
wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after work.
remove and wash contamanated clothing.
keep out of reach of children.
Avoid release to the enviroment.
do not contaminate waterways or streams with chemical or used container.

No! Don't do it!

If it says wear gloves to stop skin contact and prevent contaminating clothing then its obviousley going to cause some degree of irritation!

Thaught so but wouldn't be safe to use on tack and brushes etc.?

I would phone up the company and double check if theres anydoubt.

I have had very strange advice in the past from feed stores/WCF type places! I wouldnt take it as gospel.

My auntie used that on the barn of horses that got lice. All were fine and weve sold quite alot with no complaints? Perseonally i wouldnt use what youve posted about :)
