She needs no introduction. I'm proud of all she does. Worth the 8 minute download.

Sorry, cant cope with an 8 minute download, not at my broadband speed:(.
You keep putting interesting videos here and I cant get them downloaded - very unfair to pique my curiousity and then I cannot get them downloaded. You need to give some written clues:)

Skippy's Mum, I feel your grief about slow downloads. We finally upgraded to a satelite modem and I'm now able to take advantage of some great stuff that's available on-line. When I was on a phone connection I would download one tape at nite while I slept. Then in the AM I at least had one to watch.
Calvo, Clinton Anderson's video's are on sale now and I truely believe he's the best clinician for the novice horse owner. Invest a little money and I think you will find that you will have pretty good results in your own relationship with horses. :)
Mindy is Clinton Anderson's Australian Quarter Horse that he brought here to the USA with him. This YouTube video shows him doing some really neat ground work with her and then switches to his ridden performance during "Fantazia" which is the final show at "Equine Affair" each year. If you haven't seen him work with his own horses than I really think the time spent downloading this tape is worth the effort. He's one of the few clinicians that "competes" with his horses regularily. (NRHA)
And Mindy, well she's just one beautiful mare and Clinton's lucky to have her. :) Sure wish I could steal her away.

Does anyone know if Mindy is all Clintons work or did she have other trainers before him?

I believe that Clinton bought her as a weanling. He showed Mindy in Australia before coming to the USA. Why do you ask? Have you some reason to believe that somebody else did her training?

I only ask as I am quite a fan of Clintons training. I remember a while back there was a thing about how Pat Parelli got Magic already trained blah blah. Just made me wonder if Mindy was all down to Clinton. Just a pondering really. A few people have found him to be a little harsh but I dont feel he is without being fair first.
If a horse has had all its training with one person, I think that horse is a wonderful advert for said trainer. Good or bad! I have miles to go to reach their standard, but I like to think my mare and I are on the road. We have a goal. :D

i think clinton and mindy are amazing together! I dont know about you but the dog whisperer Cesar Millan makes alot of sense about being balanced, think he's worth having a look as some of his training is similiar to equine.. i think..lol

titch, Clinton is a Australian "cowboy" that has relocated to the USA. In Australia cows are moved/controled by the use of whips while here in the US they are often roped. Clinton often talks of his poor roping skills but his advanced skills with a bull whip. Today he just uses it to impress the crowd with the loud crack. I think all good horseman like to "show off" at times. Clinton certainly does.

Just so you know, here's Clinton riding his other horse bridless. This is Diaz. To quote Clinton, "now this is a pretty horse". :)

Quite remarkable isn't it? As someone commented on the site, the horse seems so much more relaxed than other bridleless reining horses seen on youtube.
