I remember seeing a thread on this ages ago and I can't find it now!

I want to turn my white shirt creamy/yellow. Do I just shove it in with the duster? What temp do I wash at? And finally, does it actually work??!!

One word of warning - don't put anything else in the wash with it, unless you want yellow pants and socks as well! Just your shirt and dusters (I used two to get my white breeches a soft lemony colour), and a 40 degree wash. Worked just fine for me :D

I tried it but it came out looking like the cat had weed on half of it *lol* ... I need to do it again with MORE dusters in there or warmer wash (I only ever wash at 30, it pains me to turn the dial further up, but will probaby be less damaging to the environment than driving up to the shop to get a new shirt, sooo ... )

I've never been brave enough to try this, as I'm convinced I wouldnt get an even colour and it would be blotchy.

I bought the cheapest dusters, the cheapest shirt and 60 degree wash. Perfect :D

I use 2 cheap new dusters and wash at 60 degrees, anything less doesn't work.

Then put salt in the final rinse, good luck

Right washed at 40 with one duster and it is indeed a cats pee colour.

Plan: Get 2 dusters and wash at 60?
