is my horse lame

Hi there,my mini horse either walks strange or is a bit lame..Dont know what it is maybe I have had large ponies to long but when my mini walks he looks stiff on his back leg however he cant be stiff as when I trot him he moves fine am I going mad.......

Have you got an experienced frined or a RI who could look at him as well? Or ask your vet to have a look.

I'm sure I read somewhere that locking stifles can be common in minis; it might be worth having a vet check him out just in case it's something like that.

without seeing him in action it is impossible to give an answer, if you are concerned I would arrange for the vet to take a look at him
