Seen that video several times now! :D Showed it to my mum before she came out to watch me and Cheeky rein at the Mainland Show in March. She got all excited expecting to see miracles even though I warned her that we're not very flash yet.
Mum's response when she saw us... "Oh well, at least you've got plenty to work on!" :o :D

This is 8:00 minutes, but I think you want to see it all. Here's a technique he uses that is invisible and unheard by us, but his horses are very aware of it. When he's transitioning from the gallop to the slow lope, he "hummmmms very low" (musically low :)) to cue the transition.

Also watch his horses head and mouth when they do the sliding stop. Dang head goes down and the mouth stays shut. None of that head up and gaping mouth in his barn.
