Jill, have you considered making the trip up the the Royal Highland Show at Ingleston, by Edinburgh?

Ayr county show 10th - 11th may
Royal Highland 19th - 22nd june
Auchinleck 19th - 20th july
Blair 21st - 24th august

some in scotland not sure if be too far

is devon ot far for you??? we have tons down here not just shows but things like the equine fair, various horse trials. etc aswell.

We have Kirkleatham Show here. It's only a local thing, and not really high profile, but whenever I've been, the showground has been PACKED :) It's usually held twice between June and August.
