Hey everyone!! Great meeting you all on Sat, had an absolutly brilliant time, having stopped raving about it since and am soooo pleased with Rocha and the improvements she has made from the last ride - we were actualy at the front this time:D. And I LOVED that jumping field at the end, had an absolute blast round there. I must say how nice it was riding with such a nonjudgemental (or at least keep their opinions to themselves:)) bunch of riders - a great day.

I dohave some photo's from the ride last weekend but have no clue how to put them on here?!?!!?

Oh........I almost forgot we have just had our first criollo foal for this season!

Oh I love the mare!!! How many criollo babies are you expecting?
Can I ask who you register your foals with?
We have a criollo stallion, but at the moment we are just covering TB mares with him and will probably register the foals with Wetherbys.
Doesn't help I don't speak Spanish either!!
Our boy is registered and came in from Uruguay if that helps? Thanks :)

His paperwork is in the barn :eek: (nobody steal him tonight!)
but no, he has full papers, with breeding and is a "inspected" stallion with the Uruguayan criollo people. He has an approved stallion brand and has been placed in "La Marcha" so he should be the real job!!

The Argentine Criollo people were helpful, seem to speak english but said as he was Uruguayan they couldn't help.
The Uruguayan criollo society havn't answered any of my emails (in english or spanish) and obviously I am wary of calling them with my poor poor grasp of Spanish!!! :confused:

So not sure where to go from there. As I said not too worried about the polo ponys, but it would be nice to buy some papered Criollo mares eventually (whenever I have spare cash!!) and produce papered foals. A long term project!
