Hi,

I'm doing a degree project on the effects of treeless saddles and have been sent here on a quest for case studies by the people of the Intelligent Horsemanship DG!

I am looking for case studies to use for my project, of horses who have been ridden in treeless saddles (of any sort). It doesnt matter if the result was positive or negative, or no change at all... but it would be ideal if there was some form of proof of change. Vet reports, videos (which i will analyse on a computer system), physio reports, dressage scores etc etc!

Many thanks in advance for your help :)

Hi, what an interesting project! I have a Port Lewis Impression pad and would be happy to gather some information for you, if that would be of interest.

There have been mixed feelings regarding the PLIP, but all information is useful, isn't it? :)

Please do keep posting with updates.

Mine isn't treeless as such but I have a WOW which is certainly on the non-conventional saddle side. I have two that I have used for my competition horses, one who has been in it for around 4 years and one in it for 3 years, although the latter one has produced a foal in that time and is now retired from competition - she is still ridden regularly.
