which do you use a saddlepad or numnah and why?

Non slip saddlepad as recommeded by the fitter when she fitted the saddle :)

I prefer saddlepads as numnahs never seem to fit my VSD saddle properly.

I think it depends on the back/body size of the horse/pony, e.g i thaught the Welsh ponies I used to ride at a riding school looked good with a numnah but the mare I share whos a Belgium Draught I think would look strange with one.
But thats just personal opinion!

Saddlecloth definatly.
Jazmine has a numnah at the moment but I just CANNOT get on with the thing. :rolleyes:

numnah, much smarter if you dont want to go naked :D
never had a saddle with a saddlecloth, they look bulky and too hot underneath them...

i was thinking numnah would be more popular as most people i know use a numnah and i am the only one at my yard that uses a saddle pad! (its a small yard!):D
