I have come to the conclusion that I must have some physical issue which is causing Bry issues. I have problems getting a correct rigth canter lead yet others don't. Away on holiday my husband commented when we were kayaking how I am weaking on my right side.

Question is, How do I sort this out?

Have you tried flexing her when you ask for the canter lead to give her more of a cue of what you want?

McTimmoney has really sorted out my unevenness and funny hip things. Definitely worth giving it a go. You might find someone who does horses too and you can both have a treatment :D

I think most people have a weakness - I do because of a dodgy left knee which has affected my left hip. I've really started to notice it when I'm working on bend. I collapse to one side and rely too much on my left rein.

I think some form of therapy would help me - so if you find a good solution I'd love to hear it :)

yep, off to the back lady with you! i am wonky unless reasonably regularly bashed into place, and petal tells me by going wonky herself. then if nothing major is found, you could look at pilates or alexander, get you more aware of where you are and when you're wonky.

But these things are complex arent they.
My left side is weak too and my mare does not readily give the left lead.

i would see if you can find a local sports therapist. i think 99% of horse/rider issues are rider related. I have a squint pelvis, so my weight was always uneven in my seat bones, sending mixed messages to toby. I paid £15 and had a 1 hour rider assesment with a sports therapist (who also involved my RI in the session) and i then hopped on the horse and had them transfer the adjustments we'd made into my riding. Been an absolutely priceless experience and has improved things no end.

Now im riding and doing things with Nelly im noticing a big weakness down my right side (probably the accident),so ive contacted the physio at the hospital and ive got back in contact with my sports injury physio too who has "magic" hands. ;)
Maybe worth getting yourself checked from head to toe by someone who knows about this stuff, then they can give you some pointers ,so you can tell yourself your wonky and get it sorted before Bry notices it?

I have been like it for a year or the lead issue has anyway but then she did have the spavins.

I am booked in with an Osteopath tomorrow.
