Rope Halters for In Hand? Yes or No?

Hi all,

I am showing my Coloured Cob this weekend, and I don't have an in hand bridle. However, I do have a sparkly white rope halter which looks really nice on her, but I am unsure whether to use it. It will be in hand coloured that I take her in, don't know if that will make any difference!

Any suggestions?

Oh, and! She's 12 so its not like shes youngstock, which is why I ask!

no, thhe white halters are only for some native breeds.
