Help please

Hiya

Ive just had a call from the lady who has my pony on loan to say she has to bring her back. Basically pony is happy to walk around but the minute she is asked to do anything else, she bucks.

Shes had her teeth, back tack checked and all is fine its like she just doesnt want to do anything.

She wont lunge either apparently, which she was always really easy to do.

They have moved her 3 times since she left me (about 6 weeks ago) Im not sure if this has anything to do with how she is behaving. Im at a loss of what to do with her really.

Anyone got any other ideas of why my quiet little pony has turned into a bucking broncho? xx

could go go down and work with them for a while?

Well I would say to see how she is when she feels settled with you. It could be that she isn't happy at the moment. I think when you have her a back you'll get a feel for how she is and will be able to make that judgement yourself :)

Shes just over an hour away

The little girl has lost her confidence with her now, and she even threw an instructor off yesterday! Eek!! xx

Am really starting to feel that im not cut out for horses anymore. Seem to go from one disaster to the next. Just want to go home and cry :(

jb ... get a grip your pony needs you, you do a fab job, look at your latest one.
get the pony back work with it then re loan. she does sound like she doesnt know if she is coming or going, you know her so you must know if its out of character for her.

we all have bad days, and we all sometimes feel like giving them up. but then what would we do with our time and money! oh.... and sanity.
