I would like a fulmer snaffle that's sweet iron ideally, or at least something that encourages salivation and is a french link or lozenge or similar...
But i can't find one anywhere
i can find bits that are labelled 'fulmer' but are eggbutt rather than loose ring.
Failing that, something that has full or at least half cheeks, is loose ring, sweet iron and double jointed!
any ideas?

I have a Cottage Craft full cheek French link in a yellow sweet metal (pretend Aurigan I think!) but it's not loose ring, don't think I've ever seen a full cheek that's loose ring apart from a Fulmar, and like you I've not seen one of them in French link. The bit I've got is spare at the moment because Mrs P has decided that she prefers her 'revolver' bit so you can give it a try if you want, it's a 6 inch with a lozenge in the middle & might be suitable for giant ponios :)

thanks guys :)
seems like i'm going to have to choose between having loose ring, or a 'nicer' metal for HRH's gob
or stick with my sweet iron loose ring french link! and hope he starts to listen to steering a bit more once we get going better.
hmm!

even i can't justify that much on a bit :D thanks though - maybe when we win the lottery!
he'll have to cope with bog-standard metal - we need the loose rings to stop him expecting me to carry his head about
