pasting video links???

I am trying to paste a link or video, into a thread on clicker training under natural horsemanship.

I have uploaded from my camera and can see pics and video in photobucket.

when I click on the link in the thread, I get taken to my home page on photobucket and not to the video/or play the video automatically.

I have tried pasting all four types of code and they seem to be doing the same thing except displaying as a picture or text on the thread, which I dont mind how they display there.

The lady above me on the thread seems to have the word player in her code text and I dont. Also when I try her picture ones above at the beginning of the thread they are all taking me to my photobucket now instead of playing her videos.

Can anyone help please?

I sent you a pm. I think I did it by pulling up the video first and then pasting the link from that page. Click on "direct link"

I believe it is because the word 'v.i.e.w' is now blocked (there's a thread about it knocking about) and that word is in the links for photobucket :(

Right, if you want to post your video from photobucket.

First, go to photobucket and get the 'direct link' code

Then type a word that you want to be your link to the photo

For example, you can type 'click here'

Then highlight your word/phrase that you want to use as the link

Then click the little world with some kind of linkchain on top of it (It's the symbol next to the Font Colour option when you do a quick reply :) )

A box will come up. You need to enter in the direct link of your picture/video.

It will then make a URL link (Like the one above on the word something), that is accessible because the word v.i.e.w isn't actually included in the post at all :)

just tried that still goes to MY photobucket homepage only and not the video

When in your own photobucket, run video and go to full screen.
Copy the link from the TOP LINE.
Paste into post.
