does anyone know the mix to making your own flyspray?

I just used to use plain brown vinegar.

I make a tea solution out of neem powder and witch hazel leaves, I then add plenty of citronella oil (mixed with a bit of pure soap liquid to make the oil mix with the rest).
Works as good as any bought stuff and much cheaper

I use half and half of vinegar and strong black tea (Joy is bay) and then add a dash of baby oil, dash of washing uo liquid and whatever essential oil I happen to have - usually citronella.

My mum mixes up vats of the stuff every year, our house always reeks of it!

I remember it being lemon, lavendar, eucalyptus, peppermint, citronella, tea tree..... basically any strong essential oil, with vinegar and water.

I can find out though - our one is good ;)

I use strong black tea, citronella oil, tea tree oil, lavender oil and a dash of fairy!!
Seems to work!!:D

quantities please everyone, as I have citronella oill and bought white vinegar today and have plenty of tea and washingup liquid.

1 tablespoon Methylated spirits
1 tablespoon Citronella oil
1 teaspoon washing up liquid
Half a pint of very strong, cold tea (without milk)
topped up with two litres of cold water.

Been using it for five years, costs nothing, works a treat!:D
