Try getting in touch with a company called T&T, they advertise in most horse magazines. They sell everything you need to make tack; patterns, leather, nylon, all the fittings, binding, the lot. I made some headcollars, leadropes and numnahs with their stuff, also a couple of rugs! Don't do it now, no time, but they were pretty good. I'll see if I can find their number if you like.

T & T Equestrian Supplies, 44 Oak Hill Gardens, Woodford Green, Essex IG8 9DY. If you write to them they will send you a catalogue - sorry I don't have a phone number.

I can't remember whether I sent an sae, but I'm sure they'll send you a catalogue without.

The ad says send an SAE, but if you want big patterns like rugs it's best to send a biggish one.
I don't think they have a website, could be wrong though, they'd probably tell you if you asked!

i made reflective leg bands...just bought yellow and silver tape for sewing onto kids clothes, cut to size and added velcro..they arent strechy but i find them better than the elastic ones because for some reason the elasticated ones i bougth always slip down roudn my hroses ankles.
does nayone know how to make your own hay nets? i saw it someowhere btu i cant find it anymore

I made "mud boots"- waterproof wraps for riding etc. to keep your horse's legs dry. I just got waterproof material, padding for the inside, and added vecro straps.
