I used the Rambo Sweet Itch Hoodie last year and it was great. By nose nets do you mean the Equilibrium headshake ones or Fly Masks?

Personally, not fond of full fly rugs but am using Shires fly mask that doesn't go near headshy ears/nose! Seems happy being out in disguise! Don't think he's ever worn worn as he backs away unless I'm in his box putting it on! Bless!

I used to loan a mare who had hayfever and the only way we could subdue it was with a nose net. we made our own as she rubbed all others off, made one that treaded over the nose band had an elasticated back so we could easily pull it off over her nose should she get a stick caught in it or something silly like that while riding.
anyway it really worked, during that summer and reduced a violent bucking snorting mare into a gentle occasional headshaker!:p

i have 2 weatherbeeta fly rugs. i prefer the denim mesh one to the full fly rug (its just as good at keeping the flies off) as its hardier and not so stark to look at. only problem is the gussets - i hate the freestyle system - it rubs the shoulders but the newer ones look better. my main problem with fly rugs is that it makes my horses ultra static and we get electric shocks (big cracking ones!!) off each other :(

I have the rambo protector and I think it is super. Stays in position all day!

I also have a masta(I think) combo with flexi neck but find it slips back.
As for masks - I don't think you can beat the equilibrium midi mask.

Bambi wears a nose net to stop sunburn. They are quite cheap from Robinsons. I just attach it to a field safe headcollar (the one with velcro nose and side).
She isn't wearing any fly gear, partly because they don't bother her too much and partly because she is a native and has lotsof mane and forelock protection!!
