Emergency fund

Fingers crossed I will be buying my first horse next year:D:D:D

Before buying, roughly how much money should I have saved as an emergency fund for things like vet bills and tack repairs etc? :confused:

(this money will not be used to buy the horse/tack etc or to keep it, it is simply for emergencies)

Well that's a case of how long is a piece of string :D

You could have enough squirelled away to cover the excess on what ever insurance policy you be be covering your horse with. :)
