Since the showing season is about to start, what are everybody's top showing tips?
It can be in the show ring or turnout.
My top tip is to SMILE in the show ring. :D

keep your indivdual show quick simple and ;)FUN;)

Lots of agreement with the comments above - especially purple_jewel when stewarding at shows the judges are always muttering about peoples shows going on too long!
The OH always sings to herself when she's going round the ring.
From a grooms perspective make sure you have everything with you before you leave home even if you don't think you'll need it & a spare too!! Barely a show goes by when I'm not dispatched off to some tack stand or other to retrieve some essential item generally with our ring time rapidly approaching. Last week it was hairnets!
Also don't be put off by the professionals you may meet in the ring - just think how nice it is when you beat them :)
Finally never forget - we do this for fun so enjoy yourself!!!!

Make sure all your tack/gear is really clean and don't over-do the sparkly/cosmetic stuff on the horse as it will look tacky. (ie people who drown the horse in baby oil and glitter :D)
