Have just taken a friends TB mare up to Liverpool with lumbar pain, she has been diagnosed with impingement of the dorsal spinous processes of the 5th and 6th lumbar vertebrae. The prognosis given was fair with medical therapy and good with surgery.
I was just wondering if any one has had experiences of surgery for this and what is involved.
She is due to go back at the end of June, when we will be asking all the questions regards surgery, but was trying to obtain information prior to this visit.
