Hi all
I managed to get my OH to a polo lesson on sun which was fantastic! :D
and he has totally fallen in love with the pony's! i have been trying to pursuade him that criollo's are the way forward for ages (if we could afford one - i think it'll be a small tb that i'll retrain if we get if anything to be honest as bit out of our price range :()
he also stated that he much preferes that way of riding (and has been singing jonny cash ever since!) so i want to encourage it! does anyone know of anywhere in scotland (pref not too far from perth) that i can take him to to a) meet criollo's (we might win the lottery - you never know!) and b) get him out riding a bit more in western/argie style?
Thanks
Rosie x

Don't know much about western riding myself, but you could maybe e-mail one of the Scottish area reps - they are bound to be able to give you more info on where you can ride - you never know, they may even know of someone looking for a sharer, or be able to suggest where you can find horses for sale! :)

I'm here!!!! :)
Yes I have two, down near Gretna, a stallion and a mare that you would be more than welcome to visit. We will have foals from TB mares and also from a smart ISH mare and a sucessful show cob if you wanted a baby next year!
Did you go to Perth for the polo lesson? Thom Bell is very very good at getting people hooked, Google him! There is a polo tournament at Perth this weekend, lots of teams, should be alot going on. I'll be there on Saturday if you want to meet our Criollos - they will be both playing.
I know the Argy pro at Border Reivers has ponies arriving soon, but they are starting at £7000 I think this year also as I think someone else has said Stewarton have ponies for sale.
There are two Criollo geldings for sale on here, both cheap I thought, I know nothing about them though.
