Hiya! I showed my 2 year old part bred newforest in-hand last sunday, although i think he is pretty, i do not think he really stands a chance in his M&M class against the pure bred welshies, newforests etc. He doesnt have the pretty little head like a new forest and i dont know what his mum is as she is forest run. I am thinking of instead of showing in M&M , just doing the under 3 class (any breeds) but plaiting and trimming him up. What do any of you think? Would he be better doing that? If he is a part-bred he can be shown in PB M&M classes but he will need to be plaited, pulled and trimmed. I wouldn't show him in a pure M&M class as he has no breed standard to be judged against.

Ahhhh ok thanks for that jillybean. Our little show only does a pure bred M&M not a part bred one so i am going to get out my scissors and do what i love to do and thats show him plaited in the under 3 class! Ruth x Also thank you for the compliment shikras mum, i think he is cheeky lol! x
