Your riding/hack horse and lw hunter pics please

Hiya all :D

I'm thinking of showing prince a 16.3hh irish tb just for some fun and i was just wondering what type of build the horses are in riding horse / hack / and lw hunter etc
As i'm a bit confused of what i should put prince in :o
There is a show i am doing on the 8th of june its just up the road so i wanted to see what prince is like at shows and thought why not :D

He isnt in the best condition at the moment :o because he was on box rest so needs muscle and weight on him but i aint going there to get placed but to have fun with my baby :D

The classes they have at the show for in hand are riding horse / most handsome gelding / Horse or Pony the judge would most like to take home and Best six legs

Any pics of your horses in these classes would be lovely and very helpful :D

I think he's too fine to be entered in a hunter class, okay for riding horse and hack though :)

Blimey ponygal, how tall are you? My nose measures 16.2hh and I am just over 5'10''!

:o last time i checked i was 5ft 6 the pics where taken on tuesday so they are really recent :D
i'm so happy i didnt get anything smaller :o:D
Horsemaniac he has moved to a better field now with loads of grass so that will help him as well as me riding him:D Will post pics so you can tell me if he has put weight on :D

Personally I think he may be a tad too fine for a hunter class, but it's been so long since I did any showing that I couldn't tell you for sure.

I think Soda is (most people tell me and I believe but am prepared to be corrected! Lol!) a LW hunter type. I don't/haven't yet done any showing with him though as he's only a youngster.

Prince is lovely as well! :D I think once you've got that bit of condition etc. on him he'd do well in a riding horse class. :)

I would say he is a large RH with some work - He is too big at 16.3hh to be a hack and a bit too light to be a hunter.

I would do the shows you have suggested at the show you want to go to - go and enjoy!

thankyou everyone for your answers :D i have only done the inhand showing once and that was with a shetland so is a little bit easier to know what classes to put him in lol

Hi, enjoy your showing! Just out of interest can I ask how old Prince is he looks A LOT like my first horse who I had to sell a few years ago? Probably not him but I had to ask.

if you need anymore info just ask as it would be lovely if you where his old owner :D i would have so many questions to ask you lol
