OH and I have just purchased a property with pp for a school. We are starting digging in the next couple of weeks.
Hes read about all sorts of surfaces, and decided on a synthetic fibres mix, such as this
http://www.equestriansurfaces.co.uk/atpremier.html

Has anyone any experience of driving on a surface like this or suggestions of where to get it cheaper! LOL

Or other surface sugestions. Hes anti rubber btw

Thanks

I am really sorry to butt in on your thread as quite simply I do not know anything about creating schools or surfaces for driving,

but I just wondered if you found your other fjord?

If that's the stuff Heather Moffett has in her indoor school it will be fine.

We did a huge school last year - 60m x 40m - and we laid wood grain ( recycled wood which is pulverised, looks like hemp) and it is fantastic! Very reasonable too as you don't need membrane (they recommend you don't use one in fact ) Gorgeous to drive on and perfect for jumping too. Surface cost £3500 rather than £12000! :)
