Yesterday i went for a hack with my friends horse who my horse Boy has never met (He useally only rides with horses who he grazes with- now we have shifted to where it is more populated) . It was great fun, but heres my problem, when ever my friends (Dasiy) horse got close he was 'Mr' lunge bite kick anything he could do he would try to hurt Dasiy. We were hacking with my sister riding her mare who was inseason && Boys a gelding; i am wondering if he thought he had to protect my sisters horse (from dasiy; another mare)because she was in season.
I do also wonder becase hes only fresh off the galloper track that maybe the cause (no horse can ride too close to his bum; its not safe).
He is still only green because im just introducing canter now (i'm new to retraining exracehorses) but hes getting better i can now walk && trot and (starting to ) canter calmly & gaining rythem.
Could this be due to him thinking he wants to incharge of dasiy (as hes herd leader here) & that he already thinks hes incharge of me????

I didnt know what to do with him so every time i yelled at hm turned him away && made him out of reach of Dasiy

Please any help would be majorly appreciated!
