My daughter competed this weekend and I just had to post a few pictures b/c I was such a proud Mama. She came 7th out of 23 . . . a good result in a strong field of kids who ride way more often than she does.
Checking the list to see what time she's competing . . .

I don't have any of her competing b/c it was in the indoor arena and the ponios aren't terribly keen on the flash.
She had such a great time :)

Thanks all, that pony (not ours) gets more baths than any pony I know . . . she's almost always gleaming. Such a sweetpea under saddle but rather a madam to be handled. My little girl just loves her to bits, though, and (although I say so myself) rides her quite well. She's not an easy ride . . . needs quite firm handling or she takes the proverbial, but she's comfy and has a delightful balanced canter (and can jump like stink).
Jules was soooooo thrilled.
I know the hat silk isn't correct for dressage, but it's her "lucky" silk - and it goes with her jacket :)
Now working on the next one - my older girl has a combined competition coming up in a month or so. Expect more pics ;)
Oh - and here's a gratuitous one of Rocky (my current ride) . . . he's an old man at 19 but thinks he's 4 and despite being very grumpy, is lovely to ride . . . pretty much a schoolmaster.

Oh, how fab does she look?!
What is it about NR and the perma-white ponies????
The RI at my RDA reckons that the cheekier the pony the more it is loved - just for the rebellious streak ;)

Have to agree there my lad loves all the "naughty" ponies too!
Nimbus you have every right to be proud and your daughter certainly looks appropriately happy, what a lovely little pair. Well done to them and good luck to your older daughter too!

I agree, the favourites of the wee girls at the RS I go to are the cheekiest ones and the girlie I ride mainly has certainly got a personality so she is popular (though not to ride) because she's such a madam.
These are gorgeous pics Nimbus, you are right to be proud they look fab together and your boy is lovely too, very handsome.
