... is coming up.

This time (yayy) I'm being allowed to jump. I've been jumping small small jumps for the last few weeks and can now do a small course in canter again. With a modicum of control. The last course was over 7 jumps and I had to get speedy P to trot into and away from jump no 4. To establish control. Which he did.

This has all been in either indoor or outdoor school.

The compy has a walk trot dressage test combined with 1 foot jumping which is comfortable for me jumping but a wee bit below my dressage level.

To do a wtc dressage test I will have to do it outside on grass with a taped off dressage arena and 1'9" jumping - in A GRASSED OUTDOOR SJ FIELD!! - both of which are completely new to me.

I'd love to do it, instructor says its my choice, but I am starting to get a bit worried. Will be practising outside with feet on grass (if there is good weather)_ on Friday - but what do you think?
I'd love to do it, but don't want to lose fantastic new found confidence..

Dither dither...

If you don't do it you'll regret it. Go in with the attitude it's for experience & if you do well it'll be a bonus. Nothing beats that sense of achievement from having a go at something that makes you nervous :D

Now get on with you & put your name down! & that's an order from Aunty TC! :D Don't forget to keep us informed how it goes though.
