... is coming up.
This time (yayy) I'm being allowed to jump. I've been jumping small small jumps for the last few weeks and can now do a small course in canter again. With a modicum of control. The last course was over 7 jumps and I had to get speedy P to trot into and away from jump no 4. To establish control. Which he did.
This has all been in either indoor or outdoor school.
The compy has a walk trot dressage test combined with 1 foot jumping which is comfortable for me jumping but a wee bit below my dressage level.
To do a wtc dressage test I will have to do it outside on grass with a taped off dressage arena and 1'9" jumping - in A GRASSED OUTDOOR SJ FIELD!! - both of which are completely new to me.
I'd love to do it, instructor says its my choice, but I am starting to get a bit worried. Will be practising outside with feet on grass (if there is good weather)_ on Friday - but what do you think?
I'd love to do it, but don't want to lose fantastic new found confidence..
Dither dither...
