Carla is 4 and had a little pony for 2 months.
She has been begging to jump for weeks so this is the result....
A bit left behind!!

Brilliant - you and Squiggs are going to have a bit of competition going on in a few years time:)

April is 10 and a little poppet. She held on to the saddle but a little handle might help.
She asked me to put 'much higher' because she can now officially jump!!!

You can get a little webbing strap that goes onto the D rings and acts like a little handle - works a wee treat:)

Wobbly riders is cross poles with the ends at about ankle height. Wobbly experts (:)) is straight bars literally at ankle height. The kids all have a ball and they let them keep going if it all goes pear shaped - although it aint cheap!
Why not go over on foot one night and have a wee look - trust me, Carla will have a ball:)

Yes she does rather fancy herself as a bit of an Ellen Whittaker now!
She actually trots about not on the lead rein because April is a little star and won't (probably) tank off! It's really good because she has to learn to steer and get her going etc.
However they ended up outside the school last night with April eating some lush grass!

Aha, been there too:). I got a couple of old rug leg straps and attached them from the bit to the D rings like a grass rein to stop a certain small pony doing that. She had a bad habit of putting her head down for a nibble which ended up with small people flying down her neck:)
