First horse

Hi, Im quite new to ths site having viewed it for quite a while I have finally decided to post a thread.

I have to share out my excitement because I have just bought my first horse!
(Actually my second but my first is on loan - don't even go there)

I didn't realise how much stress it can cause between husband and wife but now that im there it as worth the wait.

Before I actually pay tomorrow does anyone have any comments on welsh part bred - section d x Appaloosa?

I've had my Welsh D x for almost 3 weeks and LOVE her - she is perfecto :D:D. Think she may be x Arab but that is unknown :confused:

We have a Welsh D x Appaloosa on our yard, lovely looking mare - has lami though (although I'm sure that is not related to her breed any more than any other native-type).

I will defo have photos as soon as I get next week, she hasn't taken any spots, kind of bay with four socks but I can see under her coat a lighter shade, not sure yet shes only 16 months old.

The fun will start next week!!!!!!

Aww, she sound sweet - the one on our yard is a bright bay with white markings and no spots (that I can see anyway) I think she is about 9.

Sounds fab! I can fully understand your excitement, and I love welshies and it sounds like a good breed combination. Good luck with her.
