...........at last I feel like I'm getting somewhere :)

I thought I'd share this in case anyone else is feeling like I was .........wanting to give up that is! :mad:

I have been working hard for ages now to get my horse going forward in a soft ,willing way and we
have had loads of issues, most of them I've felt caused by my riding! :rolleyes:

But last night I had a lesson with my RI and it all seemed to slot into place :)
I could see where my horse was falling out her shoulder and therefore wasnt straight and I knew how it correct it, and it worked!!!! :D
I could anticipate when she was going to fall in and stopped it from happening.
I managed to get just the right amount of contact in my outside rein and just the right amount of play on my inside rein. :D
And there she was soft, round and going forward ................. heaven! :D:D:D

So for those of you who think it will never happen dont give up - it will. :)

Just glad its happening at last as I've been quite depressed about how hard
its all been lately. I think Im too impatient I want everything to go really well and when its doesnt I get frustrated with myself... which obviously doesnt

Glad things are starting to click into place, it can be soo frustrating when you don't seem to be getting anywhere but soo fulfilling when after all your hardwork finally pays off and it all comes together!
